The Story
Behind
the Broth.
Craft Processing.
Local Heart.
microBrothery was born in Asheville, NC — a city that's always understood what it means to make something the right way. We saw a gap: farmers and small producers with exceptional animals and no scalable, compliant way to turn bones into market-ready bone broth. So we built the infrastructure they needed for bone broth processing in Western NC.
The name is intentional. Like a microbrewery — a small-batch, craft-focused producer with deep pride in process — microBrothery is the kind of place that takes 48 hours to do something most processors rush. That's not inefficiency. That's a standard.
Our facility on New Haw Creek Road is FDA registered, cGMP compliant, and NC certified. We built it from the ground up so the producers and brands we work with never have to choose between quality and compliance.
48 Hours.
No Compromise.
Most commercial bone broth is processed in 4–8 hours. We take 48. That's not a marketing claim — it's the minimum time required to draw out the collagen, minerals, and gelatin that make bone broth worth drinking.
Compliance Isn't Optional.
We built the compliance infrastructure so our partners don't have to. Every certification below is maintained year-round — not just at audit time.
"At microBrothery, we believe that purity, accountability, and craftsmanship are non-negotiable when it comes to bone broth processing. That's why our broth production facility operates at the highest regulatory and safety standards."
